Frank Kunneman advises (financial) institutions, governments and government related entities on corporate law. He assists shareholders, managemebt boards and supervisory directors in both the advisory and litigation practice.
Frank also regularly gives courses and lectures on corporate governance. He also publishes books and articles on civil law topics, legal systems and corporate governance.

Frank Kunneman has a lot of experience as a director and supervisor. He is Supervisory Director of the Maduro & Curiel's Bank N.V. He held positions at various companies and organizations, including Deutsche Bank Finance N.V., Integrated Utility Holding N.V. and the Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau. This enables him to reduce complex legal issues for management and board members into practical solutions. Frank is also a certified supervisor in the Netherlands.
Frank is also a (part-time) professor of civil law and corporate governance at the University of Curaçao (UoC). He was previously a senior lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and dean of the UoC Faculty of Law. He was also Vice-Chairman of the Advisory Council, the highest advisory body in the country of Curaçao (before 10-10-'10 the Netherlands Antilles).
Frank is also one of the founding fathers of the Themis Institute for Governance and Leadership, a not for profit organization that offers corporate governance related services.

Frank regularly gives courses and lectures on corporate governance. He wrote several books and many articles on civil law topics, legal systems and corporate governance. He also provides a biweekly column on corporate governance in the Antilliaans Dagblad.

Frank was a partner from 1999 to 2023 at VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne. He has been a managing partner for fifteen years. In 2019, Frank was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau by His Royal Highness King Willem Alexander for his services in promoting good corporate governance in the Dutch Caribbean.
